BOARDING
Our purpose-built climate-controlled kennels means that your dogs can have single kennels or share a family kennel in lovely air-conditioned comfort in summer and heated luxury in winter. The kennel room is sound proofed, and double insulated for our guests’ comfort, with solid walls between guests for privacy in the internal kennels and a same sized shaded outside cement run. We have 12 different individual grassed play areas available for your dogs to stretch their legs and play, as well as a bigger play area with agility equipment and a sand pile to dig in. Premium food, a minimum of 6 hours a day play time & basic medication giving are all included in the price. All dogs are to have a current C5 vaccination.
DAYCARE
Daycare is more than just a place to leave your dog when you go out. At Ivory Creek Pet Retreat the dogs get: one-on-one attention from the staff, a wide variety of enrichment activities from obstacle courses to the scent garden, safe & structured off leash play time with other like minded dogs, & quiet times to recharge their batteries and to prevent over stimulation.
PET TAXI
We operate a Pet Taxi for pick up and delivery of your pets when you don't have the time to bring them to the Retreat or pick them up. Pricing is dependant on distance travelled. We also offer a local service (Somerset Council area) to pick up animals for Day-spa visits, Doggy Day Care, Doggy Adventure Walks and Vet visits. (Other areas available on certain days).
F.A.Q.
We understand, that many pets have special dietary requirements and requests. You are welcome to bring their special diets with them, but ask that wet food is packed into daily portions and clearly labeled. We do not offer a discount if you do supply your own food as it often more involved to feed a specialised diet rather than our premium food and unlike other kennels we do not charge “Corkage” for you supplying your dogs food.
We charge per calendar day, the day of arrival and the day of departure. So, even though your pet is only staying for one night, he/she will be charged for two days. In a nutshell, our guests are far more labour intensive during the day.
We take cash or direct deposit.
We do accept un-desexed dogs. Unfortunately, we cannot accept females who are in season (for obvious reasons). It is the responsibility of the owner/s of the entire female to notify Ivory Creek Pet Retreat of their females’ cycle. If the female comes into season during a stay with us the owners may have to make alternate arrangements for the dog.
Yes, we can accomodate that, but it will cost you an $58.00 out of hours fee for some one to be there at the time you request.
DOGS – require a current C5 vaccination given at least 2 weeks prior to boarding if they are overdue.
CATS –require a current F3 vaccination given at least 2 weeks prior to boarding if they are overdue.
Our fees DO NOT include a hydro bath.
If you would like your pet bathed before collection, please advise our staff when booking. Baths start at $35.00 and are dependant on dog size and coat type. This does not include grooming/nails it is a bath only.
*Dogs staying 14 days or more at entitled to a free bath.
